Wanderlust Journal 14 – Eastern Passage

In Eastern Passage, between the boardwalk and the golf course you’ll find the look off. There’s almost always cars here taking in the views of this amazing place.

As many times as I have been here, I have always stayed at the top of the look off, but recently I found a path to the bottom, so I decided to go check it out.

There are quite a few big rocks that you can sit on to watch the waves crash.

When you climb back up, which is not a difficult climb, you will get beautiful views no matter which way you look!

Not too far from here, there is a place called Flag Pond Coastal Access Park. It’s not a very big park, but it’s amazing and filled with so much nature life!

There are two trails, one leads to the ocean with a rocky beach front, and the other leads to a marsh. At the marsh you will find lots of birds, fish, frogs, otters and ducks.

And if you’re lucky, ducklings!

Just down the road from park, you will find Rainbow Haven Provincial Park Beach.

This is a great place for sunning, swimming and walking the sandy shore. There’s also some back trails which are quite fun to explore.

Keep in mind this beach can get very busy on hot summer days and parking can be somewhat troubling. Pack a lunch and go early if you know it will be nice!

Eastern Passage has a lot to explore, with some of the most breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
