Wanderlust Journal 17 – Cow Bay

A day drive to Cow Bay turned into a rose picking adventure on the side of the road.

Bloom where you are planted.

Work hard, stay bumble.

Mon amie picking from the rose hip tree. Her plan is to make some jam with the rose hips. Hopefully, I’ll get to try some!

About 1 kilos of rose hips! There will be a few bottles of jam, I’m sure!

We finished off the adventure feeling childlike, as we picked delicious raspberries on a trail to the water; a flock of seagulls were waiting for us to arrive!

  1. I grew up in Eastern Passage, I have family out in cow bay. Use to swim at the beach there. I also love rose hip jelly. I haven’t made any in a few years but tastes like marmalade to me very good. Nice story thanks
